Daredevil Ferri Somogyi tempts fate...

'Dangerous? Nonsense, nothing will happen to me.'

It looks like soap actor Ferri Somogyi likes to put his life at stake. He is a real speed freak, and doesn't care much for speed limits. Sometimes it costs him...

Dark clouds gather over Zandvoort's race track as actors from various soaps start their engines noisily. The racing cars are ready, but unfortunately the start has been delayed because of bad weather. Then a hesitant sun breaks through the clouds. Ferri Somogyi waits impatiently, as do Jimmy Geduld and Rik Engelkes. He wants to race these touring cars so badly. Then an official appears, asks Ferri to open his window and to kill the engine. The man looks at the soap star angrily and summons him to put on a helmet... Ferri grins, rolls up the window, straps his helmet on and starts the car. Within moments the cars sped away. Ferri took the lead, took a few turns too carelessly and suddenly he did a 180. The other racers barely managed to miss him... Ferri looked hardly shaken, put his foot to the floor and managed to finish as one of the first. A cool reaction: "Dangerous? Nonsense. Nothing will happen to me."
